Version 2.0 - last updated 3 October 2026
These Terms are the agreement between you and TurtleTrading.ai. Please read them before we install the Software on your trading account.
These Service Terms & Conditions (the Terms) are a legal agreement between you (the Customer, you) and Turtle Trading Limited, a company incorporated in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (Company No. 80420464) and trading as TurtleTrading.ai (TurtleTrading.ai, we, us). They cover the Turtle AI software licence, our Trade Now, Pay Later payment plan, the included VPS hosting, and our setup and support services (together, the Services).
You accept these Terms when you place an order, when you allow us to install the Software on your trading account, or when you use the Software or the VPS - whichever happens first. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not install or use the Software.
Please also read the Turtle AI Parameters Guide (what each setting does) and our Privacy Commitment (how we handle your data). Both form part of this agreement.
A non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and run the Turtle AI Expert Advisor (the Software) on one MetaTrader trading account for each currency pair included in your order. The Software is delivered as a compiled file (.ex4 or .ex5) that is locked to the trading account number you give us.
Your purchase is a one-time licence fee. There are no monthly fees and we take no share of your profits. The licence lasts for as long as the Software is supported and you comply with these Terms.
The Software runs on MetaTrader 4. A MetaTrader 5 version is supplied where it is listed on our website at the time of your order. The Software must be attached to the 15-minute (M15) chart of the licensed pair and will not run on other timeframes.
You need a broker that offers the licensed pair. Brokers with low spreads (raw or ECN accounts) are recommended, because the Software does not open new trades while the spread is above your spread filter. We do not choose your broker for you and have no relationship with your broker.
If you change broker or account number, we re-issue your licence to one new account number free of charge once in any 12-month period. Further changes may carry the administration fee shown on our website. The previous file stops working once the new one is issued.
We may release updates that improve the Software or fix problems. Updates for the pairs you have licensed are free of charge. We will tell you when an update is available and may ask you to install it in order to keep receiving support.
The Software ships with tested default settings. You may change any parameter described in the Parameters Guide. You are responsible for every setting you choose - including position size, maximum trades per series, the drawdown pause, the equity stop (which is off by default) and the spread filter - and for the results of those choices.
The Software, its code, trading logic, documentation, brand, website and all related intellectual property belong to TurtleTrading.ai and are protected by copyright and other laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership to you. You own your trading account, your trades and your trading data.
If you breach this section we may deactivate your licence immediately and without refund, and we may take legal action to protect our rights. You remain responsible for any open trades on your account.
We install and activate the Software on your trading account first. The licence fee shown on our website at the time of your order (in US dollars) becomes due 30 days after the Installation Date.
The Installation Date is the day we confirm in writing (by email or message) that the Software is active on your account. We send a reminder at least 7 days before the due date.
At setup we ask for a payment card and make a USD 1.00 verification charge or authorisation hold. This confirms that the card is valid and belongs to you. The amount is reversed or refunded under your bank's normal process, usually within 5 to 10 business days.
Card details are collected and stored by our payment processor. We never see or store your full card number - see our Privacy Commitment.
On the due date we charge the card you provided for the full licence fee, unless you have already paid by bank transfer or another method we offer. The amount due is the licence fee plus any taxes, bank or currency-conversion charges applied by your bank or by law in your country. You are responsible for any taxes that apply where you live.
If you tell us in writing before the due date that you do not wish to continue, we deactivate the Software and the VPS and no licence fee is charged. Any trades that are open at that time stay open on your account and remain your responsibility - we do not close them for you.
If payment has not been received 7 days after the due date we may: suspend your licence (the Software stops opening new trades; your open trades are not touched); pause your VPS; continue to attempt the card payment; and charge a reasonable administration fee for reactivation.
A suspension does not close trades or manage your account - open positions remain your responsibility at all times. Once the full amount is received we reactivate the licence and VPS within one business day. Amounts unpaid for 30 days or more may be referred for collection.
Prices, bundles and included services are those shown on our website when you order. Bundle discounts and included setup sessions apply only to orders placed while that offer is active. We may change prices for future orders at any time; a change never affects a licence you have already paid for.
The Software is a digital product that is activated and running on your account from the Installation Date, and the first 30 days are your evaluation period. For that reason, licence fees are non-refundable once your licence has been issued and the due date has passed.
One exception: if we cannot get the Software running on a supported setup (MetaTrader 4, a broker that offers your pair and a working VPS or computer) within 14 days of your order, we cancel the order and refund anything you have paid. Trading results are never grounds for a refund.
Each order includes 12 months of cloud VPS (virtual private server) hosting from the Installation Date, so the Software can run around the clock during market hours without your own computer being switched on. We set up the server, install MetaTrader and the Software, and give you the login details.
The VPS is provided to run the Turtle AI Software. You may also run your own MetaTrader charts on it. You may not use it for anything unlawful, for crypto-mining, for bulk email, for hosting other services or in any way that harms the server, other customers or third parties. We may stop such use without notice.
We aim for 99% monthly availability. Short interruptions for maintenance, security updates or events outside our control - data-centre, internet, broker or MetaTrader failures - can happen and are not a breach of these Terms. Where possible we schedule maintenance outside main trading hours and tell you in advance.
The Software only trades while it is connected and running. We are not responsible for trading results caused by downtime - see Risk & Liability. If you need higher certainty, you may run a second copy on your own computer or VPS; ask us about this.
At least 30 days before your included hosting ends we will contact you. You can renew for USD 25 per year (or the price shown on our website at that time), move the Software to a VPS or computer of your choice, or stop. If we do not hear from you, the VPS is switched off at the end of the included period and its data is deleted 30 days later. Stopping the VPS does not end your licence.
We rent servers from established data-centre providers and administer them for you. Server locations are chosen for low latency to broker servers and may be outside your country. You remain the owner of all data stored on your VPS. Our access to it is limited to installation, support, security and maintenance - see our Privacy Commitment.
Advice on which settings you should use for your money, which broker to choose, when to switch the Software on or off, or whether to close open trades. Any comments from our team on these topics are general information only, not a recommendation.
Problems caused by your broker, your internet connection, third-party software, or changes you made to the server or the Software are outside standard support. We may be able to help with these at an hourly rate agreed in advance.
A one-on-one guided setup session is included in the 2-pair and 3-pair bundles and is available for a USD 35 flat fee with other orders. Sessions are held by video call or screen-share, last up to one hour and must be booked in advance. We get you fully running in that session wherever your broker and internet connection allow.
Contact us by email at contact@turtletrading.ai, or by WhatsApp or Telegram using the links on our website. We respond within one business day (Hong Kong time, Monday to Friday, excluding Hong Kong public holidays). Issues affecting live trading are prioritised, but we cannot guarantee a response time.
To support you we may need to log in to your VPS or see your MetaTrader screen. We access only what is needed for the task and tell you what we did. We never place, modify or close trades on your account unless you ask us to in writing while we are on a support call with you.
TurtleTrading.ai provides software, hosting and technical support. We are not a broker, fund manager, financial adviser or investment firm, and we are not licensed by the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission or any other regulator to give investment advice or to manage money. Nothing on our website, in our documents or from our team is a recommendation to trade or a promise of profit.
The Software does only what its settings tell it to do. You decide whether to run it, on which account, with how much money and with which settings. You can switch it off, change settings or close trades at any time. Every trade placed through your account is your trade.
Turtle AI is a grid averaging system. When price moves against an open position it adds further trades at fixed steps, each larger than the last, up to the maximum you set. This can produce frequent small profits, but in a strong one-way market the open loss can grow quickly. If your protections are switched off or set too wide, the loss can exceed your deposit. Past results, backtests and demo results do not predict future performance. Only trade with money you can afford to lose.
We do not guarantee any profit, return, win-rate or drawdown level, or that the Software will be error-free or always available. Protections such as the drawdown pause, equity stop and spread filter depend on your settings, on your broker's prices and execution, and on the Software being connected and running. Slippage, price gaps and outages can cause trades to close at a worse level than the one you set.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any trading losses, lost profits, lost data or any indirect or consequential loss arising from the Software, the VPS, our support or these Terms - however caused, including negligence.
Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you for all claims together is limited to the licence fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, or for anything that cannot be limited under Hong Kong law.
We are not responsible for your broker, for MetaQuotes (the maker of MetaTrader), for payment processors, data centres or internet providers, or for changes any of them make that affect the Software or the VPS.
By ordering you confirm that you are at least 18 years old; that you are legally permitted to trade leveraged foreign exchange where you live; that your broker allows automated trading software; and that you are not located in, or a resident of, a country or on a list that would make it unlawful for us to deal with you. You agree to compensate us for losses we suffer because you have broken these Terms or the law.
These Terms apply from your order until your licence ends. You may end them at any time by writing to us (no refund, except as set out under Refunds). We may end them immediately if you breach the licence rules, fail to pay, or use the Services unlawfully; in any other case we give 30 days' notice. On termination your licence and VPS are deactivated. We do not close open trades for you.
We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes we email you at least 14 days before they take effect. If you continue to use the Services after that date, the new Terms apply to you. The current version is always available at turtletrading.ai.
We send notices to the email address on your order. You send notices to contact@turtletrading.ai. A notice is treated as received one business day after it is sent. Please keep your contact details up to date.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. If a dispute arises, please contact us first - most issues are solved quickly and informally. Otherwise the courts of Hong Kong have exclusive jurisdiction, except that we may enforce our intellectual-property rights in any country.
If anything in these Terms is unclear, ask us before you order. We would rather answer a question now than have a misunderstanding later.

Trading foreign exchange on margin carries a high level of risk and is not suitable for every investor. Leverage can work against you as well as for you. You can lose some or all of your invested capital, so do not trade with money you cannot afford to lose. Averaging (grid) systems in particular can accumulate large open losses during strong one-way trends before their protections activate. TurtleTrading.ai provides software, not investment advice. Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future results. Before using the Software, consider your experience, objectives and risk tolerance, and seek independent advice if needed.
